Glenn Ford Scholarship Fund
The Glenn Ford Drama Award and Scholarship has been presented yearly to a deserving student at Santa Monica High School since 1946 (Dad's alma mater / he graduated in 1934). The honoree must have evidenced a passion and ability in the field of acting and the performing arts.
A scholarship fund has been created in my father's name which will exist in perpetuity. Each SaMoHi winner receives $1,000.00 to help them on the journey. All donations that you care to make are tax deductible. The TIN (Tax Identification Number) for the Santa Monica Alumni Association is 95-4228641. The high school routinely sends out acknowledgments to those who donate.
Additionally, the Ford Family would be pleased to offer a premium to those donors who make a substantial donation to the Glenn Ford Scholarship Fund. For those donating $200 or more you’ll receive a gift of a book with a “Ex Libris Glenn Ford” bookplate in it and some other treats. The books are from Glenn Ford’s personal Library. Please keep in mind, that this premium is simply a way to say, “Thank You for our family”. Additionally, you’ll receive the full benefit of your donation as a tax deduction. Your check, in any amount, can be made out to the SM Ed Foundation and on the memo line indicate ‘Ford Drama Scholarship’ and send the check to:
